I've been contemplating on what i want to do with my front stage. I have the following equipment:
AMP (Power Acoustik PS4-800 4ch): http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-Power-Acoustik-POWER-ACOUSTIK-POWPS4800-4-CHANNEL-800-WATT-AMPLIFIER
COMPS (Polk MOMO MM6 minus tweets): http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/specs/mm6/
TWEETS (Polk MOMO MM400): http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/specs/mm400/
I cant decide which would be the best way to run them. I have heard lots of good things about Active vs. Passive, and i think i may want to run them active. The problem comes in when i am trying to figure out which crossovers to use. I know the crossovers that came with the MM6 set are passive. These will not allow me to bi-amp my components. I do have another set of crossovers. They are these: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_components.php?comp_id=120 (just the crossovers). These do allow bi-amping. I was thinking that i could use the JL crossovers with my polk speakers, but i am not sure if they will work ok. Should i use the JL crossovers, the MOMO crossovers, or what is another choice? As i have said before, i have never attempted anything such as this, and i'd like to get this done correctly. Thanks for any help.
