Hey guys would you do the Pioneer TS-D1720C or Kenwood KFC-XP184C. I am open to suggestions as well (under 150$). Speakers will be going in a ram 1500 so mounting depth needs to be under 3 inches.

What does the 2ohm affect?

Means it's easier for the amp to drive it. In other words, takes less power for them to get loud. If you can, get the JBLs. The Pioneers offer outstanding value as you can get them for $90 or sometimes less and they're probably the best set of comps you can find under $100. I would also strongly consider these:

The JBL's wont be a problem, those IA look good to, also quite a few people have recommend the Polk's, but say they lack midbass.

I'd jump on the JBLs from what I've seen, but can't endorse the Polks. They're ok, but I feel that even the Pioneers offer a bit more for the price. Polk DB tweets also scream, not very pleasant.

DB tweets do kinda scream, hence the DXI recommendation. I personally feel the same way about the JBL tweets, and have always returned to the Polks at the same price point. DXI have always been well balanced right out of the box and remain reliable.

I have Polk audio db tweeters and they sound great. Everyone that sits in my truck is amazed at the sound quality from them. If urs didn't sound good your doing something wrong.

They weren't mine. If they didn't sound good, I must've heard something better.
