Complete Setup $800 to $1000

ive had my Boston Pro60s unpowered through 2 12" W7s and my 18" in sig and could hear music decent...

ok. i had to get comps to hear over my measly type r's. sounded like complete *** with the stock speakers.

One of my edits goot swooped away so Ill ask again but who makes FI or is it a brand (sorry new to the sub world) link would be appreciated and also do I need a capacitor? If so how big 1/2 farad or 3?

http://www.ficaraudio.com and i mean if you want one i guess you can get one youd prob need either one of those or a battery...idk about caps so someone else help out

and also FI is a new sub brand that is pretty much taking over where RE left off....in my opinion

as long as he has some decent stock speakers..my Envoy came with comps stock up front....also on my Pioneer theres a button that says somethin like EQ-X or something click that lil ***** n it will give you more settings in the Audio thing and makes the Highs a shit load louder

jus checked and i dont think ur headunit has what i was talking about but still my $.02 is get subs first then upgrade in future for comps because personally SOME/most of the hard hitting songs dont have good lyrics/rappers either

i don't wanna argue, especially because all ears are different, but bass is worthless without the music no matter what kind of music it is. that's why i believe front speakers are as important, if not more important than the subs.

no no i agree just to a certain point...i mean unless ur stocks completely blow *** hole you can still hear the music so w.e and if you plan on upgrading jus get some Type R 6.5 comps and an Alpine MRP-F250 and ull be straight...

EDIT : thats only like $250^^

Just read over the Big 3 Wiring guide and it seems pretty simple to do, Who makes good front speakers

As far as dynamat do I need to do it just to the trunk or to the trunk and doors cause I like bass but if something is rattling it bothers me.

As of right now my speakers are ok but I would probally get new fronts when I get subs as I like to atleast hear the music even though I agree most rap songs the bass is the best part //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

edit front speakers are 6x8s not 5x7s

haha. alpine type r comps are really harsh(look in my sig). i hate 'em. doesn't mean someone else won't like 'em i guess.

i personally would go with 6.5's and replace the 5 x 7's. 6.5 rounds are much better.
