Compitition Car ???

I am looking into getting a new project vehicle, right now I have a jeep Cherokee that I have had ~20 different build combination's, but its my daily driver.

I would like get a car strictly for turning into a competition vehicle.

I have played with some old honda crx's in the past with good results....

Just looking for options...

If you had ~5K to spend on a vehicle (has to be street worthy to start)

what would you look at?

dodge shadow is def a bad *** car, but i think a 4 door escort LX with seat covers might take this...14s i keep em clean tho..i go hard in the scort

i have a 2 door scort and with 2500 and 1 15 doing 150s aint bad. its pretty easy to get loud in scorts but a PITA to do any mods. worth it to me though

what 15 are u running, and what did u do to ur box cuz i have the 8 inch sono in right now and deciding if maybe i should try a 6 inch..id like to def do more then 145 but as of now since i wont be going to comps i want wats loudest to ear
