well, i've made more boxes since this old thread was abandoned. so i'll post some more pics. all taken w/ my cheap camera phone though...

sealed w/ double/recessed baffle for a 15" Brahma.

in progress: for a 15" SI Magnum. bottom needed to be modified to comply with a weird hump in the trunk of an Lexus IS 300

and i need to design/figure out a nice way to mount a 5 channel DLS A7 amp to the back of the box. Thinking of integrating a fan into the box/amp-rack to cool the amp since it will be between the box and the back seat. also because i noticed that the amp has the function of controlling external fans.

and all this is done in my funky little workshop outside.

JB, how do you do the tuck-in carpeting technique on the port side without cutting a .75" port stick?

i used a router with a straight cut bit and cut 1/4" deep since i used a 1/4" rabbet bit.

the thing is that I had to use the straight cut bit 3/4" away from the edge.
