Compare and contrast subs.

Alright I'm thinking that I will be putting ~100$ (give or take some) into a single 12" sub.

In that price range I have found some infinity's Kickers, and Rockfords that are all close in wattage.

I have an amp that runs at 900@4ohms, 1300@2ohms, and 1700@1ohm. I'm thinking ideally that I want a 2 or 1ohm sub to get the most out of the amp.

I'm leaning towards the Lanzars after some searching. Which one would be better? The second one has higher wattage, but is the first one better quality?

for starters, your amp is GROSSLY OVERRATED, and $100 for a Sub that handles 1Kw, is not only just outrageous, but it's stupid. That amp might do half it's rated power. If you are in need of a budget buy, go the Hifonics route.

Um, right show me your proof, or are you just saying that b/c you don't like the brand?

When did I say something about the sub handling 1k. Ok I did say something about running it @ 1 or 2 ohms, which would imply running at a higher wattage, but would using a lower ohm setting with the same power sub put less stress on th amp?... Also notice though that the highest rated sub I linked to was 750rms...

Anyways I'll look into hifonics.
