the ed nine is rated at 1200rms but at 12.5 volts instead of the usual 13.8 or 14.4 but as misfit said you would have to buy another if you wanted 2, but im bettingafter you spend the money for a custom single 15 box ect you will be plenty happy

would PAI-1000.1 or ed nine.1 be able to support a two speaker setup if i later decide to throw a second one in or should i stick with the MB Quart dsc2000

The DSC2000.1 would allow you to upgrade to a pair of subs later. It's a nice amp for the price, bro...

alright. im prob ganna go with the 2 4 xl 15s, one now and one later and the amp. thanks. well ive got ya what would you recoommend to round this out. i was just ganna replace the stock head with an alpine from a buddy o mine and some jvc doors but since im going up in quality id better stick with it. Ill have prob 400 for compnents thats 100 per door and 300 for a head?

Lots of nice options as far as cd players and components are concerned. If I were you, I'd look into the Alpine CDA-9887. Components is a whole other can of worms, dude. If I were you, I'd opt for a single pair of really nice ones for the front doors and just stick with some relatively inexpensive coaxials for the rears. You'll also want an amplifier for your comps. I'm sure you don't want to hear that, though...

365 is to much for my amp budget im already spending almost twice as much as i was ganna on the subs.

Eclipse no longer exists. I'm not going to say that their equipment isn't nice, but I wouldn't look to them exclusively anymore. Will they warranty their products now? Will repairs be cost effective now? Who knows?
