comp amp gain setting

you dont even need to do each side separately. Just turn your HU up about 75% up and set the gain accordingly. I usually dont even turn it up til i hear distortion, I set set it until my sub and components match and one isnt overpowering the other.

i dont think it does split the power, one a two channel amp a sub amp it does

but 2 channel it doesnt does it.

last time i checked when you test the dmm on one channel and set it for 26.4 volts the other reads the same as well
