Comments and/or Suggestions Welcome!

?????
I'm currently in the process of buying a 1990 Corolla from my dad for dirt cheap, and have already begun the process of upgrading the stereo. He was using a Pioneer DEH-1600 head unit, 4" Pioneer coaxials in the front and 5 1/4" of the same in the rear. I already own all the equipment in my sig, and already have the subwoofer and accompanying amplifer installed, but I'm hoping for some feedback before I continue.

I'm also planning on sound deadening the trunk (and maybe the doors as well), and I'm willing to drop another few hundred into it in the coming months. So, anyone have any comments or suggestions for me before I continue this project?

I hear fatmat is the same as Dynamat extreme and is around $100 for 100 sq feet, definatly something I'd look in to.
Yeah I was actually doing research on Fatmat today. I couldn't remember details about it, I've been slacking in my car audio participation in the past few months and am just getting back into it. If I go with an asphalt-based deadener I'll probably just pick up some Peel and Seal, or I might put out the extra cash for some butyl-based RAAMmat BXT. I'm also considering a ceramic spray, I'll probably pick up a can from the local auto-parts store this weekend and test it out.

sounds like you know what you're doing. Proceed with pics.
Yes sir! Sadly I don't have a digital camera, but my cousin (currently residing with me) does and I'll steal it in the near future to get some 'before' pics. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

I also have the dilemma of finding a place to mount 7" speakers in a Corolla... Dash speakers are 4" and down-firing so that's obviously ruled out. I'm 6' 3" and need space for my feet so kick-panels might be too constraining, and I'd have to build out the panels like hell to install them in the doors...

So, if one was going to spend $200-$300 dollars to add to this system, what would one spend it on (sound dampening aside)? Any part of this configuration noticeably weaker than the rest? I'm considering changing my subwoofer configuration; I have a couple of RE10s I could build a ported box for and hook up to the CL800, or I could sell the sub and amp and use that money plus a few hundred for a new setup. :O Not much room in a Corolla, though, so once again: Open to suggestions.

RE SE from the group buy?
Oh dear, you've piqued my interest... link?!?

P.S. If anyone even HINTS at the search function, I'll stab them repeatedly.

P.S.S. Nevermind, found it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I'm thinking about a TS-W3002SPL ported or two TS-W306DVCs sealed, powered by my current amp and possibly upgrading to 1200w @ 1 ohm eventually. For some reason I want to stick with Pioneer woofers... I like them better than RE's lower-end stuff. Which would you guys recommend?
