Well, It's probably going to sit at my aunt and uncle's house for a while.
I parked it on campus yesterday. When I was walking back to my truck in the parking lot, I watched someone in an old rusty GMC Sierra back into my truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
He started to pull away, then I ran after him and he stopped. I took a picture of his plates, but he said he didn't want to get insurance involved and would rather just pay me cash. The bumper is dented in, and I told him $150 should cover it. I should've said more.

Pretty sure u have to take your trailer hitch off to use that... Most people on the Tahoe forum who put roll pans mean no more towing

As of right now, I'm not towing anything with a hitch, but that sucks.
I usually just use my hitch to pull people out. When I first got my truck, we used it to pull the fence posts at my friend's house so they could put the new fence in.
On google images, it shows that your hitch is right where the license plate goes on the roll pan bumper. I might be able to keep the hitch on and pull the plate if I need to put a ball mount in quick for a tow rope. I could also relocate the rear plate.
Putting it on a hinge like this looks like a good idea:

Oh that *****. Totally illegal too once that person drives off....talk about irresponsible. As Judge Joe Brown has said, man up!!
Same thing happened to me long ago. I was parked and someone rear ended my vehicle (it was a small parking area). And someone had told me about it. Long story short, young guy forked over 200 bucks, instead of getting insurance involved and the police. He was not happy giving me the $$ but I don't care. People need to fess up their actions/mistakes instead of shrugging it off as if nothing happened.

Agreed. IMO, try not to wife anyone. When it seems completely natural, you've already been together for a long time, and you're supporting yourself post-college, then maybe it's time and you've found a good candidate.
