College Trying to Kick Me Out for a rule that isnt in the handbook

Ok well the story is that i had a shopping cart from one of the stores that is in our area that was found when my RA did inspections the first of the month. I then got a letter saying its under a certain code in the handbook. Went to look for this code and it says nothing about stolen property AT ALL in the handbook.

I then checked the online handbook like it said and all the offenses and everything were on there. I only recieved the handbook i got when i first came to the university and signed a paper saying i got it but the handbook i got doesnt include the information thats online. Would this be grounds for them to throw the whole thing out or can they find a way around it?

This question determines whether or not im going to get expelled from my university so dont ruin this thread. Thanks

I believe that it is a federal offense to have possession of a shopping cart off of the owner's property. Is there anything in the handbook that says federal offenses are bad?
P.S. You're a douchenozzle for having a shopping cart anyhow. That's what poor people do.

no i told them we found it in a ditch off campus at a place thats like 5-6 miles away from the store

Last straw huh. Sounds like you must have done a good bit of dumb shit before this if they're trying to kick you out of school for having a shopping cart in your room. Good luck, cuz if they want you gone, it's bye bye.

she is a chick...shes cool when i talk to her but then she tries to get us trouble for every little thing we do
