College people, what kind of places do you live in?

for people complaining about drinking and partying and stuff, it isn't a trade off. Its not like if you drink alot and are loud and a party person you can't do well in college. I personally get drunk alot and love going to parties, yet i have a 3.5 grade point average and i am applying to law school next fall. It is very possible to do both. Last semester I was in the dorms and pulled off a 4.0

Also, you can still live on campus in a house. My house right now is closer to campus that most of the dorms, but it is extremely quiet. I get tons of work done here.

I have rent a house with some friends...so I can do pretty much what I want, within the limit of blowing the place up.

Plus, nowhere else allows a stripper pole.

I live in some brand new apartments just built this year... they're "on campus" right on the edge... but not owned or operated by the university... they're privately owned apartments.

Really nice, little on the smaller side... but still great especially compared to any type of dorm. Two bedrooms, two baths, living room, and kitchen.

i live about 65 miles away from school.. in a shity house...but i only pay $100 a month for rent ;0

4-bedroom house with a few of my old highschool buddies.

We all pretty much do our own thing, but its def. nice to have some real friends to hang out with at home when theres nothing to do.

And, ya Cali. rent FTL, my buddy pays like $800 a month for a one-floor flat in San Fran, and he shares it with 4 other people....... That SOBs making like $3k a month part time at some investment bank, tho, and hes still got another year of school left....
