that is the place i have for next year w/ 3 of my buddies. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Should be a good time. It's pretty wierd, it is a house that they rent to college students, but it is in a residential area, kind of cool. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Bottom left apartment is the one i shared with two of my buddies.

It's a 4 bedroom place, with 2 bathrooms. Since there was only 3 of us living in it, i had my own bathroom. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Not the greatest place, but its the closest decent apartments to campus that is far enough away to not be bothered by the campus/city police. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I live in a dorm... sucks because most people leave on the weekends. I'm in an upperclassman dorm, so it's really no fun. Most of my friends that live on campus have all the parties, on campus parties are a no-no.

Reser Stadium is out the window to the right about 200 feet, it gets pretty loud during game days. The soccer field is right out my window across the road and they play games at like 9am, so it sucks when I have a hangover because I wake up to "holla-back girl" by Gwen Stefani being played over the PA system... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

LOL SoCal is soo expensive, you have no idea how much we're paying for that house

A picture of the bar/stage/stripper pole. I actually went to a party there last night and there was something like 10 kegs behind the bar. Ahhhh college:D

At home. Why? Because i'm here to learn, not party. I just finished year 3. I plan on staying here until the other house is done, then I'll decide if i want to stay or go.

Because living on campus means you party... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

Probably 90% of people cant commute to their school... not to mention the ridiculous gas prices for those who might live within a 1/2 hour. IMO, living on campus shows a greater will to be learning, you are always close to classes and libraries and all the other functions of the school. Your logic simply doesnt make sense...

I walk around campus at night and see all kinds of tipsy people (weekdays included). Everyone brags about how wasted they were over the weekend. I walk past the greek side of campus on monday and there's broken glass/beer cans everywhere. There's loud music coming from the dorms all day (even the honor's). Being near class makes no difference if the student never goes to class. I have no problem going back to campus for a team meeting or if the library's database doesn't have the article i need accesable through the internet. As far as gas goes; it is more expensive than it was, but considering $3.00 will move me and 5,000 lbs of steel a distance of 16 miles that is still a deal to me.

I agree with you that not everyone that lives on or near campus is a party machine, but there are enough of them to ruin it for me. I want quiet at a reasonable hour and to not have to step over the passed out as i walk down a hallway. I could have gone to a high falutin' super academic school which would have solved the problem, but 1) I couldn't get in and 2) i have no respect for the "prestigious" schools anyway.

im sorry, but u must have absolutely no social life. (aka. no friends) The whole college experience has partying and drinking involved....If you can't manage your time right or keep focus then thats ur fault, and you might want to get some ridalin.....Don't blame others for distracting you, cause obviously u wouldn't be motivated/mature enought to carry a social life and a academic life at the same time. ITs nobody elses fault.

I live at home, party my a$$ off, and commute to school in a vehicle which gets no better than 12 MPG, you don't have to live on campus to party... but I am in SoCal so theres always something going on
