Bikejunkie... The way I see it, is that the pac 10 is not up to par with the other power confrences of college football, mainly, SEC, and the ACC. I agree yall have good teams, This year Oregon is 10 (though they are barely hanging on) and UCLA is around 14 (dont know the exact rank) and of course USC. First off i think that it is bullSh1t that the pac 10 doesnt play a confence championship game, that is just down right unfair to the Big 12, SEC, ACC, other confrences that have to play on. Next, the pac 10 has only come into semi-power in the last few years (the USC era), and to be fair the ACC has only come into power lately though, VA tech has always been a powerhouse in that confrence. On the other had The SEC has Florida, Tennesse, LSU (all of which have won a national championship since the 90's) Alabama, no one needs to explain their power in the 50's-70's. Then you have georgia, and auburn, always at the top of the top 25. And on the LSU vs. OSU I was at that game, and i admit that LSU played horribly, but that game was played in Hurricanesque conditions, there was a driving rain throughout the whole game and some decently intense wind, and mother nature always levels out the playing field.
