NCSU is on a backwards slide, and I like that. Amato is a dick.

Bikejunkie... The way I see it, is that the pac 10 is not up to par with the other power confrences of college football, mainly, SEC, and the ACC. I agree yall have good teams, This year Oregon is 10 (though they are barely hanging on) and UCLA is around 14 (dont know the exact rank) and of course USC. First off i think that it is bullSh1t that the pac 10 doesnt play a confence championship game, that is just down right unfair to the Big 12, SEC, ACC, other confrences that have to play on. Next, the pac 10 has only come into semi-power in the last few years (the USC era), and to be fair the ACC has only come into power lately though, VA tech has always been a powerhouse in that confrence. On the other had The SEC has Florida, Tennesse, LSU (all of which have won a national championship since the 90's) Alabama, no one needs to explain their power in the 50's-70's. Then you have georgia, and auburn, always at the top of the top 25. And on the LSU vs. OSU I was at that game, and i admit that LSU played horribly, but that game was played in Hurricanesque conditions, there was a driving rain throughout the whole game and some decently intense wind, and mother nature always levels out the playing field.
Here are a couple points to chew on...Starting next year, there will be an additional game in the pac-10, I don't know if it will be a championship game, but everybody will play everybody in the conference- finally (Oregon got to skip USC for the last 3 years-until this year!) The Pac-10 has always had it's share of powerhouses. USC, UCLA, Oregon, and though not recently, nobody can argue what a juggernaught Washington used to be in the 90's. Washington State has been very good until this year, and had they not lost their stripper boning coach prior to the Rose Bowl, would most likely have been better. Arizona, Stanford, Oregon State,Cal, and Arizona State have all been massively inconsistant, and this is why everyone bags on the pac-10, you have half the conference where you never know what team will show up. Sadly the bias against the pac-10 gets worse in bowl games, as they seem to routinely get beaten in the crap.com bowl year after year.

There is no team in college football that can beat Texas right now..
USC is good, but just good.. Not great..

Texas is going to win the Rose Bowl again this year..

Someone said Texas's schedule was a joke at best, well I don't fully agree with that but I will say they haven't even been tested yet. The only time they went up against a good team was against Ohio State and that game could have gone either way. I say a decent D and an offense like USCs and you have a Texas team getting their ***** beat. They don't even have a real QB. Just a running back under center.

As far as the poll is concerned: I didn't even vote because neither team will lose until the Rose Bowl.

Want a spread on it? We'll take it straight from harrah's.

Assuming that they both win out and play for the national championship, i'd be more than willing to make that bet....

USC = 30+ - 0 in the last couple years.... i really dont think texas has what it takes to beat USC.... If it's out in pasadena like the rose bowl is, USC will go on again to win the national championship.

IMO miami has a better shot at beating USC because of their defense...... Matt leinart is going to eat Texas' defense alive :p

If Miami has a chance to go, if Texas or USC happen to lose, it won't matter which one of them Miami plays. The Canes can beat either team. USC would have a better chance because of their style of play. Texas is a typical 'good' college team but not great.

Outside of USC and Cal........the Pac-10 sucks balls.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Fuck Miami. They can barely keep their convicts.....oh I mean players in line so they stay out of jail long enough to play in the big games.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
