yes ants

they are trying to invade my home.

please share your ideas and experiences on how you keep your living space free from ants.

yes yes i already know to not leave food and drink out for them thank you - i believe its the cold trying to drive them in out of the weather maby. what can i do to help keep ants and bugs out ?

usualy i would just put down a bit of boraxo on a line of ants going from here to there - they eat it take it back to the colony and it kills them all. this wont work here its not a colony of ants its just stray guys trying to catch a break from cold.

wink wink

You live in Florida, it's not cold. Lol
Bullshit. We got .25 inches of snow and the roads are icey. I don't have work today because of it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I had a similar problem over the summer. The best solution believe it or not was to make a mix of ground black pepper and ground cinnamon, and sprinkle it in all the exterior door thresholds and on the windows. I tried bait traps, sprays and everything else specifically marketed towards ants, yet the pepper/cinnamon thing was the only trick that was actually effective at keeping them out.
