cold VS speakers

Cold weather is great for amps
. Not so sure about speakers tho. You may not want to turn your system on full blast first thing in the morning. Let it warm up at low volumes for a bit.

I have no clue how cold weather affects speakers but just a suggestion.

I have been told by a pro installer that it is best to allow your system to warm up before you pound it. The cold stiffens and restricts the cone as well as other components of a sub. I live in Minnesota so this was my concern too.

well thats very good to know, i figured that it would be a good idea to let the speakers "warm up" becuase yeah...its like a very cold plastic cup, if u bend it, its gonna snap....anyways thanx for the info
