ok, i am saving for an alarm. in the meantime, i want to try to protect my car as much as possible. i already have a club (those steel ones wrapped in red plastic) but what else can i do?

i mean when im not in the car. if they break in while im at home, i already got a 12 guage mossberg 590a1. **** them. this is for when i park at school or stuff like that.

Of course that link provides lots of information about Honda/Acura. If you can't figure out how to apply to it to your vehicle from there, well, then I can't help you. do something like my macbook pro its linked to my bluetooth and when im more than 30ft away from it it sets an alarm and should anyone open it it takes a picture of them and sends it to my ftp server

well, my box is done with security torx and if they want the box that bad i cant stop them. so, im more affraid of them stealing the car. i have comprehensive insurrance on the parts inside

Simplest thing is once the car is off, pop the hood and pull out the ignition coil wire and take it with you. Don't tell anyone that's how you secure your car either, nobody is going to randomly have an ignition coil wire with them, but if people know that's how to steal your car they'll get one cheap.

Most cars these days have coil packs or COP, so you would have to remove 4 or more coil wires or take out the coil-on-plugs, kind of a PITA..I used to simply remove my fuel pump relay when leaving the car in an area I was uncomfortable with, and I have alarms on all my cars..Won't stop them from putting it on a flatbed, but I don't really see that happening at school..
