from a real quick search it says it is an antique and from 1968...

and measures up to 140db's...

why would you use an antique?

usually the amp will get at least warm

if its worth 3000 why dont you sell it and get a real db meter and spend the rest on your system?

amps tend to get warm after a while..

what you want to worry about is your subs getting to warm...

if they get to hot, glue may fall apart or your vc might burn up.

yeah the amp putting out 1800rms so its supposed to ihave the 2 12" wired to it they are 1000rms each do you think the amp is putting out to much for them? I was just testing them on the amp i have set to push my to eternals which are 1300rms each and they do fine?

what are your gains.. bass boost and all that set at?

I dont even think the gains are even half way up i have the remote bass boost and on the deck i had the bass on plus 6 so i probably had it ajusted to high for those subs. I pulled those subs out of my car but i wanna get the same amp for them that i have for my eternals. One of those earthquakes blew the fuses in the terminal right away so it was probably getting to much current or power right?
