Clipping!!!! help dont know much about all of this

I have a pioneer head unit, two kicker comp svc 15s,4 gauge wiring, 2 farad cap, and infinity 1211a. the amp has a clip light and it flashes when i turn it up but it dont sound really crappy or anything. its hittin really hard and i cant see anything ive done wrong. the amp is 1300 rms and the subs are like 250 rms and they are at 2 0hms. i have a sealed box. i dont know if i should get a different box or the amp is too small(which it shouldnt be). Maybe i need another battery. There is some noise running through the subs but not engine noise. i tried a groud loop isolator and it did nothing. i dont know if the noise is from the head unit or the amp or what. could someone help plz.

What model is your headunit, and what are your gains set at? You can't hear clipping unless it's really bad.

its a deh-p5900lb. i think thats it. the subs thump when i turn the hu on or off.

That headunit has 4v preouts so your gain shouldn't be up much. About how much is your gain turned up to? Is the ground for your amp solid, with the paint sanded down so the contact is bare metal?

Turn the gain WAY down and turn the bass boost off

ok ill do that and turn the boost off. and yeah i have a solid ground i made sure just an hour ago, i sanded the paint off and everything. the noise is still the same.

ok thanks. but what about the noise playing through my subs. ive tried new rca cables and even another cd player. the noise wasnt so bad but still thumped with the other head unit
