Class D mono or 2-channel amp?

I have 2 Hifonics atlas subs(AS12SQ) they are rated 900rms, I'm told that they are wired down to 1ohm each for a total of 2homs. The guy I bought them from states that I need a 2ohm or 1/2 ohm stable amp(don't know why but yes 1/2 ohm) claims amp will read it as 1/2ohm. Well I'm planning on getting a 2ohm amp and here is what I have up for offers.

1 used PPI pc1400

1 New Hifonics BXI 1606D

1 new Kicker ZX 1000.1

1 new MA audio HK2000D

1 Lanzar OPTI2000D

2 Crunch PZI 1000.1

I'm looking for help in finding out if a Mono amp or 2channel will work best in my application, and as far as amp suggestions which is most reliable and clean/accurate at high volume. Thanks for all your help in advance

I'm sorry they are dual 2ohm.

Of those I think the Opti is clearly the best option.

It will give you 1900w at 1/2 ohm and should drive those subs to their limits.

The PPI's only 400w

HF isn't that powerful at 2 ohms -- 800 or so??

MA - 1000w at 2 ohms and probably over-rated

The two crunch's might work pretty well, each being 1000w at 1 ohm, and assuming they're fairly accurately rated. My concern would be how durable are they?

kicker zx1500.1 easily underrated and can give you that power at 2ohm

I would say out of thoes the Kicker is by far the best for performance. The OPti would be the next choice if you are looking to save some money, but the Kicker should be very reliable.

Thanks to all replys, so am I looking at a amp that performs well @2ohms or am I looking for something @1/2 ohm?

For the kicker choice I should be looking for a zx1500.1?
