Hey i was over at a friends house today and he showed me his setup in his beretta...

he has a 1000w mtxthunder amp, and 2 12" clarion subs. is clarion a good brand?

Clarion make's some real nice head units. Not the best, but pretty good for the money. I wouldn't mess with any of their other stuff, but I have no experience with them. Did they sound nice?

they sounded really good. they pouned extremely hard, we were driving down my road and my bro was about 500 feet away and he said he could hear us, he said it was just pounding, so yea clarion subs are pretty good. i like them, plus my friend has a trunk that its very airtight.

clarion subs are horrible.....Sorry to say they make good h/u's amps etc, but their subs are horrible, very low excursion, the 15 has no excursion, 15's should be able to pound, but instead they have the same excursion as the 12, just not worth the money....
