The box has a typo. The power output at 2 ohms is 85W, NOT 75W. Yes, this amp was made in response to the "power pack" we all know about and this amplifier is better in every way.

Those dimensions are TINY. I'm wondering if I could mount this inside my dash to save room in the trunk for a larger sub amp.

I haven't heard this amplifier but I expect it to not add any characteristic to the sound. The low distortion means it should sound very clean and clear.
