Clarion mcd360 for active front stage

Like most electronic crossovers of this type it does not offer both a high pass filter and a low pass filter on one pair of channels for use on mids. It's for taking 2 channels in and doing front/rear/sub. Old school systems were sometimes put together like this, and now I guess we're coming full circle since a phone or another portable player could be used with this. I honestly don't know who keeps buying MCD360 to make Clarion keep producing it, as it is a current product for 2015.

I was told to just lets the mids roll off, will that not work well. I also thought about using Fmods to bandpass it

Agreed. It's not suitable for a 2-way active. the silver flute can roll-off naturally in some installs but the install should be tested prior to making that decision. buying a crossover suitable for a true 2-way is my recommendation.
