well i finally got around to having this done last week. i think it turned out alright, tuesday im having a box built for the ps2, but as of right now its just sitting in the floorboard. everything works good, ill try to get a picture of the screen tomorrow. let me know what you think

looks great...all custom i take it? havnt seen the inside of a navi before....whats wrong with your present ps2 box?

as of then its was in the floorboard, but heres another picture of the screen and also a picture of the ps2 in secured in place.

Awesome! Hmm, SN-95 with 2-tone interior, must be a '94-'95. How much of a pain was it to move the HVAC controls?

Tirefryr, it wasnt to hard at all to move the hvac controls. most of the connections just came off easily other than a few.

mattj, that'd be awsome to see, where can you get those at? just to find out more about them

Ebay has the touchscreen monitors. Everything else id put togeather myself. Id personally get a xenarc 7inch and just put it in the stock location and run all my mp3s off of a harddrive. Id also throw a wireless network card in the computer so i can grab something off my house pc instead of making cds to transfer.

Wow, I live in a pretty good part of town... but even around here I would be scared that would get stolen out in plain view like that.

Yes a caputer is the best thing I've ever done for my vehicle. The sky is the limit on what you can do. Take a look at vealink for some awsome carputers.

mine isnt a touch screen. its just a regular clarion 7" tft. mattj was talking about a xenarc 7inch screen off of ebay. these are touch screen.

i just bought an amp kit and used the power wire and ground wire. but that also powered the power inverter. used a relay switch
