Civic si vs Scion tc ..FTW???

i was saying the insurance would be around 2000 a year. and also remember to talk and talk trying to get the best plan and price at the dealership. and also if your young have your dad do the talking.
lol i was hoping noone thought i was too young by wanting this car.. I'm 27, i see the MSRP is $20,000.. Now invoice is $18,500 .. I no i should nt be asking this at my age , but how much can you negotiate on a new car? If 18,500 was the sticker i'd actually pay for it, i'd throw my 2 grand down and hopefully walk out with a > $300 payment

well for most cars you can get quite a bit off like close to 5 grand or do a nice payment method. but the only problem with the si is that honda only made so many so they probably wont mess with the price too much.

i heard the same about the Scion, my best friends sister just bought one and said that they were very firm with the sticker price, because the Scion line is already pretty cheap as it is.

but i'd go with a Scion Xb if i were you.

boxes FTW

but the Tc's are sexy too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

True.. So like i was wondering.. Will i be able to work the dealer down to the $18k invoice price or is it pretty locked into the msrp of $21k

Its too tough to judge on the scion.. I think they look ugly in pics.. But i saw one a few weeks ago and it caught my eye so i went to see what it was.. Of course it was a tc.. the moonroof looks pretty sweet tho;)

well where i live i would actually have to raise the price just to get one but if they are common where you live then you will most likely be able to play with the price not much but alittle just dont settle for non sense even if it means getting up and leaving. also you may just want to wait a little until like november or when ever the 07 model comes out and you will probably get a better deal.

True, theres only a few Tc's i like, it depends on the color, and rims, some look really nice and others look really cheap and plastic-y

the only tc i would like is there "super" version? i dunno, its only in red, and its just clean. I would love having the civic si with the carbon fiber hood though. weeeeeeeeeeee! I was a fan of the civic, but hte price is too much. My dad bought his 95 civic for about 10,500 after all taxes and fees. Darn inflation, im going to kill it now good bye.

scion interior seemed cheap to me. I felt like i was in a flying elephant at disneyland. I loved the Acura's RSX interior the best. Its like your flying a jet, everything is for the driver. Now Have an rsx at a tc price, a civic mileage, and a toyota like reliability. ANd then a jet engine.

Insurance will be cheaper on the tc but out of the box the honda will rip on the tc with ease. If you apply some cash, say around $4,000 in mods to the tc, it will STOMP the si and be the same price as the si. How do I know? I own a tc that can eats si's at the track right now with ease. On average I run a full second faster in the quarter on 18" wheels and a 1/2 - 3/4 tank of gas hahaha. Also the tc is much more of a luxury ride, ride in one, compare features. The tc is a test bed for toyota for items to be put into higher end toyota and lexus models. The glass roof alone was just released as an option on a lexus for $5000 *LOL* Things like full auto windows all the way around, side and knee airbags, proven engine and ****** "same as new 07 model camry 4 bangers, again the tc engine was a test bed for the new 2az design and they now just released it in the new camry..." Great looks and tons of aftermarket jumping up all over the place. Also the TC DOES HOLD VALUE BETTER THAN THE SI WITH EASE! *LOL* look up the blue book on a tc for 2004 or 2005, I think you will be shocked to find the 2005 right at the same price as new and the 2004 just bairly under what it cost brand new!
