Alright other than goin on in the other post i started about suv's.. I think i'll just go new.. After thinking about gas prices and reading reviews on both of these cars it would seem to be a pretty easy decision .. Even tho i'd be payin about 4-5000 more for one of the new cars...

1) My insurance would be less

2) i would cut my gas expenses in half due to 40 mpg... saving me around $1000/ yr which over 5 years would equal itself out...

I'm going to the dealer on monday to see what i can get for my car... and hopefully it has a fold down rear seat too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'm going with the Honda. I love the new design and the Si is awesome. I'd venture a guess that the Honda will hold it's value more than the Scion will over the long haul.

I do as well, Is it such a bad thing to buy a new car when you know you prolly shouldnt .. I wont break myself but it will strap me for cash a little.. .. The inside is pretty cool to me at least.. I'm just confused, i want it but theres a little problem with my diamante that i wish i could temporarily fix .. You know til after they test drive it... THe ****** slips, not bad 90% of the time but With my luck that 10% will be when the dealer takes it for a drive

definently go with the si. not only is it a honda but its a rarer car where as the scion is everywhere you look. as for the ****** try and drain the fluid and put what ever your cars manufacturer recommends in it.

I was going to to that but i was told by a few people that changing the fluid might make it worse due to something about the breaking down of it more because there might be lubricants or shavings of pieces in the pan still and if you take them out it might break down more.. ??? I dunno, its worth a try

im not really understandin what you mean but if you mean like metal shavings then you definently want those out and it means something far worse is wrong with it but the new ****** fluid if not changed for a while will make it shift much smoother. is this an auto or manual?

God the more i look at it the more i want it.. Anyone know how insurance might be on one of these?, I need all the help i can due to only having a few grand to put down the payments are gonna be around $400/ mth..
someone on here just got one and said his insurance is 2000.

i like the TC more, the glass roof is pretty sick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif , can pic one up slightly used and save a few grand there plus the 4k u will be savin by not gettin the civic.. then spend like 2k on a supercharger/turbo setup and ur set //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i was saying the insurance would be around 2000 a year. and also remember to talk and talk trying to get the best plan and price at the dealership. and also if your young have your dad do the talking.
