Warranties are through Assurant Solutions, so if Circuit City fails the warranties are still good.

Did you tell them about the "One price, one promise" as advertised on their website? And did you have a copy of the package printed out with the price breakdown for $999 with you when you tried to purchase?

Or did you just go in there and ask for the TV for $999?
