Choosing the right speakers

Hey guys watsup,

Im picking which speakers I am going to put in my honda accord. People said not to put 6x9 speakers in the back just dissconnect them.

As for the component speakers in the front I have chosen, Rainbow SLC's or Crystal SSCS6. Any suggestions of better speakers, or comments. Thanks

IMO crystals will sound Ok in just about any car, my friend put a set that retails at $99.00 in a '67 Chevelle and they sounded freaking awesome...which surprised me because I'm a believer in "you get what you pay for"....I think if you are going after a very well balanced system that is above average in sound quality, has a high front stage, then you need to consider a speaker like the rainbow's...

I have Boston Acoustic SL 60's in my doors with the tweets mounted in the kick panels...they are powered by a Sundown Audio 100.2 and they rock....Excellent Mid Bass and the stage is about 3 inches below your chin...it sounds like the speakers are mounted in the A pillar...instead they are by your feet....

Let us know what you go with and how they sound.

Sounds like you should go with the Crysals...
