Two BMs would probably be louder than one Mag in the right install...

Heh Iz a nub... LOL I googled IIRC and it came up with some computer laguage stuff...

But eitherway 2 BMs (12s) 500 (10s) 480 Thats pretty expensive leaving me with a mere 200 for an amp... and actually my sale didnt go through on my old subs so its more like 50... but I can come up with enough... Ill have a friend lone me 200 or somethin.

Would you say BM are as good as Mag in the SQL aspect?

Grab an SI mag and than spend the rest on a good amp.

Or try one of the new FI subs (ficaraudio.com) maybe the Q series?

IDMax (if u can find one) and buy an amp.

I wouldn't go for the Pioneer Premier's if u were really looking for great SQL.

Thanks phyphoestilic, those FI look insane! fI.Q 12s with 1000RMS!! And the fI.ssD 10s with 800RMS for 180!! Are they good SQ? Ill search for a review on em and all that...

So are you suggesting get a single mag over duel BMS

And I got a truck question here... If I wanted to compete would my truck be more ideal for SQ or SPL contests? Because I kinda want to build this system to be competition ready...

Depends on your space. If you get mags I say go SPL.

2 (12) bm's should be louder than one mag. We'll see though, we don't know much about BM's yet.

My friend was telling me trucks arent very good with SPL in comps etc... they mainly go SQ

your friend should kill him self , there are quite a few trucks that compete spl and sq

but trucks are limited in space so most time gmc vans or suvs or stuff of that nature.

1 SI Mag 12"

2 SI BMs 10"

2 FI BTL 10"

2 FI Q 12"

2 Rl-P 12"

Which of these would be the best for SQ?

Which would be better for SPL?

And which is the smartest idea period. Price wise I guess.
