choosing a battery

i need some help choosing out a new battery.

I have an 05 chevy silverado 1500 ls with a kicker1000.1 amp, my battery in now has 300cca and my lights dim real bad.

get something with a high aH rating and cca. how much do you have to spend? are you only trying to use one battery under the hood or are you willing to put one in the back with the system too?

I would suggest a deka intimidator 34/78 battery. pretty inexpensive and well worth the money.

well id like to just use one for everything but i dont wanna spend over a 100

i could put another one somewhere but i have no clue how to wire into another battery

wiring a second battery is easy. just run a length of wire from the postives and negatives of the front battery to the positives and negatives of the front battery. then wire from the second battery to your amps and done.

if you wanna go on the cheap pick up one of those huge marine batts from walmart, they are like 78$ or something like that?

on a sidenote, how does a half ton truck have 300cca?!? my ram 1500 has the small V8 the 4.7 and my stock batt is still 850cca
