Choose my subwoofer box

Well I'm leaving tonight to go to VA for a while so when I'm up there I'm going to build my first box. I'll be powering a Soundstream EG-15X. It's rated at 400rms 800max. It is DVC 4 ohm So I will be powering each voice coil with a soundstream rubicon 302 amplifier. I have two box plans sitting in front of me. One is for sq and the other is for spl.

Spl sealed box

Enclosure Size gross 2.2 cubit feet

L 16.75 x H 16.75 x W 18.0

Sound quality box sealed.

Enclosure Size gross 3.7 cubit feet

L 31.5 x H 20.0 x W 13.0

I don't know? I have the Soundstreams Owners manual right in front of me and I typed down what it said.

same here, spl should come from a bigger one

Just make the larger one and be done with it, you won't be dissapointed.
