choices kinetik or optima

i use delcos biggest deep cycle they offer. never had a problem. the system in my boat is roughly 2000-2200 watts and i can crank on that for 5-6 hours without them dying, i have two just for the system. then i can start it up on those same two batteries. my local zapco dealer uses the deka marine batteries, designed for harsh marine applications. he says those are equally as good, if not better.

From what Ive heard Kinetik is better than Optima. Why? Don't ask me because I wouldn't know. This is just from what people have told me, I was going to get a yellow top until the told me that.

kinetik is good, but if u dont kno where to get a good deal then i dont think it is worth it. i say look on batterymart.com and check out those odyssey2150 batt which is an awesome batt or also look into interstate workaholics, they are beast. those batts would be my 1st choice. if u dont have the connections kenitiks can get expensive. i chose to run the workaholics becuz of the performance and how cheap they are and they are local so, if i have any probs i could juss run them back. also, another good batt thats cheap and perform well is the walmart everstartmaxx, awesome batt. under 70bux w/3yr warranty.

definatly sealed.

gel > liquid

kinetik > oddesy > optima

i have a HC1800 - fits my standard battery size too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I agree

kinetik > oddesy > optima
According to my tests thats exactly backwards //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Optima>Oddesy>Kinetik unless you train the kenitik with special charging techniques... but... what happens when you do the same to the Optima //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I've compared these batteries several times... and the Optima wins everytime... Old vs. New, New vs. Old... dont matter... the Optima has always been at least .4 ahead of everything except the Big Amp Battery (which is 30" long?)
