Chevy Restoration.

Thats funny that was your uncle's truck. My second truck I bought from my uncle as well. It was an 89' GMC std-cab short bed step-side. Exactly the same as yours except the color and the bed.

Nice job though on the resto. Its not easy but you truly do appreciate it when its done. I'm sure its been asked, but any thoughts on the system plans?

sure, tons of THOUGHTS on it. i gotta figure out what bucket seats im gonna use first before i can really decide what im gonna do. probably one sub and a couple sets of speakers with matching amps.

The truck looks awesome, the paint is incredible comparing it to the car in the background //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

if ur talkin about the brown truck that gets started july 1st for a restoration. gonna b a long summer haha.

i work 60 hours a week... and do work on the side for audio and such. I also sacrafice on clothes and shoes and shit but really i just try to be smart with my money and doing most the work myself really saves a shit load of money. The exhaust is already shortened which really made me happy. so its just time now i have to get it appraised for insurance and then the beds coming off and im starting on the frame and suspension hopefuly

Ok. After calming down i got in a wreck today. I was turning right on red came to a complete stop, couldnt see, edged out and the guy smashed me from behind not sure what he was thinking. At any rate after going out and taking a look at the truck since i never really did when it happened cause i saw the front of his car and knew mine was gonna make me angry. ANYWAY. The roll pan is trashed, the bed lines dont match with the cab lines now its about an inch higher on the drivers side. On the way home it felt like the rear end was out of wack and i thought it was just me, but my passenger, brother said the same thing. All in all as long as its just the bed damage it isnt bad. All that will need to be done is either find a way to cut out the roll pan and mold in a new one, or im gonna have to get a new bed and start over. Ill get pictures, but it really dosent look bad. What worries me is it was a small car that came under the back and picked up the trucked and pushed me about 10 feet forward. If its just cosmetic ill be fine and insurance will cover it all.

Dont think any one is following any more but test fit some rims today even thou i did get rearended with some pretty good damage i had them and wanted to see how they looked
