Chevy Headunit Color Code??

My 2001 Chevy 2dr Blazer has 6 speakers....

4X6" top of dash

6.5" front doors

6x9" rear panels

Everywhere I look on the net I'm unable to find the correct wiring diagram which displays all (6) speaker wire colors.

Does anyone know the colors for all (6) speakers?

Here is all that I've found...

Radio 12v orange + radio harness

Radio Ground black - radio harness

Radio Ignition dk. green + radio harness

Radio Illumination brown + radio harness

Factory Amp Turn-on orange + radio harness

Notes: The amplifier is behind the glove box.

Power Antenna N/A

LF Speaker +/- tan - gray +,- radio harness

RF Speaker +/- lt. green - dk. green +,- radio harness

LR Speaker +/- brown - yellow +,- radio harness

RR Speaker +/- dk. blue - lt. blue +,- radio harness

use a 9v battery to figure it out...

Cool, I may have to do that. I just hate cutting wires that dont need to be cut.

If anyone else happens to know or have any input please advise. Thanks.

Buy a tone generator so you don't have to cut any wires.

Use process of elimination from the diagram you have. Whats left over could be the set of wires you are looking for. IDK, might work. and instead of cutting your wires to use the 9V bat. method, Use a pin and some wire with alligator clips in the end.

Good ideas. Im checking it out tonight. Im sure the 9v battery to the pin in the harness will work if I use some alligator crimps which I happen to have a few sets laying around.
