any kind of paint will do? I have some Scratch fix paint stuff that covers up scratches. I has a brush so I can paint a pretty big area. Will that work?

You don't want to use household paint. Use a can of automotive spray paint. Take you 10 seconds to do the job.

Yes, it will work. I have touch-up paint with my car, but I didn't use it. I used black spray paint. I thought it would be easier and it worked out fine. But you can go ahead and use the stuff that you have.
