Check this DD designed box design?

Well needless to say, I'm a little pissed. They said to build the high effeciency larger box, but after cutting the boards they didn't **** fit. Comes to find out their numbers are all *** wrong and backwords. But looks like I can save the wood and just make it the .75^3 instead of the 1^3, and tuned to 38 hz.

Can someone check this design if its good too? Its the top 8" design. The sub used will be a DD 1008a

yeah they said its a great enclosure.

The cutout numbers are all off. Just gotta trim some boards down. I'm gonna call em tomorrow. Can't say I really trust it so far

the tech from dd said I could move the sub to the top baffle instead of the side.

Does that sound correct if I just keep it as far from the port as possible?

yes

and just make sure you are assembling it the same way it is pictured and should be good

2) 24” x 11.875” top (technically baffle if you move sub)and bottom 2) 24” x 8” baffle(front wall) and rear wall

(baffle panel has a 7.16” diameter

hole centered 4.75” from the side) 1) 8” x 8.75” side wall (port side) 1) 8” x 10.375” side wall (non-port side) 1) 8” x 20.875” port length board

all look good

.375=3/8

.625=5/8

.875=7/8

The top and bottom panels are wrong in their panel cutout dimensions link as it says they should be 24” x 12.675” but it should be 11.875" like in the pictures. None of their other panels are wrong and the top seems to be a miss-entry from the 10" enclosure. Doing it like they say, it comes out to about .82 cubes tuned to 39hz before sub displacement. If you can't make it fit by having the top and bottom panels stick out a little bit, YOU ****ed up somewhere on the cuts.
