These things are great. I honestly couldn't ask for more with the price tag on them ($179).

Huge magnets... screw the 100w RMS power handling, these things can take way more.

Well, bottom line is, I liked them so much that I wrote a review on them, in the reviews section: http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=342796

I already ordered a set for my fiancee as well, can't wait to put them in. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Just thought I'd share these with you guys, they're the best speakers I've bought for the money.

ehhh im pretty sure ID rates their products very accuratley

thats nothin im running these
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12225_Pioneer+Premier+TS-D720C.html

with right over 170 rms each side alllllllll day
Are you running those active or Passive? I have same set and only seeing 50rmsX4 as I tried to bridge it to see 85 or so RMS and it didn't like it. Would cut out when I went past 25 out of 35 on my deck with below half on my gains.

Would love to get more power to these.

I'm looking to replace my Focal 165V2S. They lack in the midbass, drums are completly lost. Toms, rolls, and floor toms sound muffled.

Would these sound better than my current Focals?

I am using these same ID comps and the silk tweeters are much easier on the ears compared to the focal. The ID's have plenty of solid midbass, make sure to dampen the doors well.

look pretty nice. in running active and im looking for a new set of 6.5 and tweets. probably going to buy my cousins mb quart premiums though. i guess i cant go wrong spending $100 on those either. those ids you have got my mouth watering though. enjoy them

Ive spent a lot of money trying to achieve this midbass that i always lack when upgrading my sound systems. I went from $200 Kickers, Dayton Audio RSF180 7", and now $300 Focals. All of them lacked in the percussion area, when my G.F's stock Camry has better range in that area its depressing. Ive dynamated both my doors very well, even added ensolite foam, i have custom MDF baffles as well. Still lacking the midbass. I guess i dont have good luck with speaker selection.

About the Focals im also starting to notice the tweeters are a bit hard on the ears. They sound great! But they lack midbass. Ive also added the Imprint processor on my Alpine W505 hoping to achieve the midbass im always lacking, but no luck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

The MB Quarts are way too harsh for my liking, they hurt my ears. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
