6.5 rounds in 5x7 holes

How much of a pain is it to put 6.5" mids into 5x7 holes? Should I just go with 5.25" mids? I'd like the benefits of the 6.5's over the 5.5's but if its alot more of a hassle...

I just wasn't sure about screw hole alignments but from that it looks like it should work just fine

I've got a Mazda that has 5X7 factory holes in all 4 doors. In my front doors, I had two 5X7 1/2 baffles mounted over the holes, then mounted 6.5" mids to them, no problem.

I just ordered these speakers ...for my Civic...they come with the adapters....

My componet speakers came with adaptor plates and I also had 5x7 factory holes and componets are the 6 3/4" ones. Works well.

Or could by some mounting rings or baffles.
