I was thinking about buying these equipments, I recently made a list. I got about $6000 to spend on a system. Here's what I came up with (tell me if they're any good):

(2) Oz Audio Power 15.1

15" 8000W Quad 1-Ohm SPL Subwoofer

(2) Hifonics XXV Cyclops

High Performance 4000W ULTRA D-Class Mono Block Amplifier

MA Audio SY30EQ

30 Band Graphic Equalizer

Infinity Perfect 6.1

6-1/2" Component Speakers System

(2) Infinity Kappa 693.7i

6"x9" 3-Way 330W Car Speakers

Hifonics XXV Gemini

High Performance A/B-Class 4-Channel Amplifier

Only thing left is the head unit. I can't really decide on what to get. Any ideas?

If you want loud clear mids and highs, don't get Infinity. You've got money to spend- get some Boston Pros, or even the Boston Z6s. There are more non-conformist brands out there that get pretty loud as well. A lot of guys on here like the Rainbow stuff. MB Quart QSDs get pretty loud too but the tweeters are kind of harsh. As far as SPL goes, you don't need 8000 watts and 2 QVC 15s to get what you're looking for. The box you build will have just as much, if not more, to do with your SPL as the subs you buy. There's a guy on here with 1 DD (Digital Designs) 10" sub that hit like 150db. Not sure about the exact number, but you can spend your money on more quality stuff rather than quantity and end up with better results. I am not personally into SPL, so I can't really recommend subs other than what I've seen other people say on this forum. The Alpine Type Xs hit hard for the money but aren't really designed for SPL. JL W7s, Kicker L7s, etc are the mainstream stuff. You can get into the lesser known stuff like Fi, DD, RE, and every other acronym known to man and scoop up some sweet stuff as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

As for the components, other people will have more suggestions I'm sure, but those are the ones I know that you will hear loud and clear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Might need to do 2 sets even to keep up with the bass you're talking about, if you want it to sound balanced...

You are going to have to spend some $$$ upgrading your electical system as well. 200+ amp alt, and multiple batteries, and a buncha 0ga.

As for the head unit, pick one that will suit your needs, being an SPL guy you probably wont need an extra big EQ or a ton of tuning options.
