CHeck my wiring please

usually thats the normal length of a ground. ever notice when you buy an amp kit, the grounds are about 3ft long? i think youd be fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

hmm... Im gonna try grounding somewhere else. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

You don't need the 120amp inline fuse if you have the fused dist. block with adequete fuses for the respective amps. that is to say if the 80amp fuses in the Dist. Block are sufficient for the two amps then you can take out eh 120 inline fuse.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

I can't believe no one said anything about this.

You absolutely need the inline fuse as close as possible to the battery. The fuse is to protect the wire, not the amps. If you don't fuse this run you could have a short and melt the insulation and catch fire to the car.

The fuses at the distro also act to protect the 2 smaller wires, not the amp. The amps are already fused.

whatever floats your amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
It better work... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Already got that covered... I dismissed that comment as... "pish-posh" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ALLRIGHT... new issue...

I got an new HU, and it doesnt have a wire for the Auto-Antenna relay control... but it has one for the AMP Remote TUrn on...

Could I wire the antenna relay to the Remote turn on... [where my apms are hooked up to] and then put a switch between the antenna and the HU? Will that work? Manual I know... but... I just dont want the power antenna upp all the time.

Or wil this not work?
