nope wont happen, i spliced the switch into the remote wire from the h/u, since you cant turn off the amp from the h/u i wired the switch cause i dont like the bass all the time.
Your headunit probably has a setting that can turn it off and on, but it's still not a bad idea, especially if you need to turn it off quick (cops).
