WELL heres my first install in my s10, alpine h/u, 2 10" eclipse 6000 series subs, planet audio amp and a homemade 3/4 mdf box. tell me what you think, i know i need to clean up the wiring, and dont hate cause its cheap.

I forgot to add that since im cheap i got the wiring kit from wal-mart its the schoshe one or whatever the brand is.

but it works for me since it being my first system i dont know the difference between good and bad

Why use a switch to turn on amp instead f the lead from HU or tapping into and ignition setion of fuse panel?

Can't rag on it for being cheap man, because the components are good.

Man reminds me of my first setup. I had a 96 s10 with an alpine hu similar to that running 2 12" older type R's. Looks like you did a pretty good job on the box.

thanks for the comments on the box, i think it cost about 30 bux to make

$18 for the mdf

$5 for screws

$10 for the little things you squezze in that have threads(forgot what their called)

I can see dead batteries in the future from forgetting to trun it off though lol.

nope wont happen, i spliced the switch into the remote wire from the h/u, since you cant turn off the amp from the h/u i wired the switch cause i dont like the bass all the time.

Now I understand fully. So it is on a lead, you just have the lead switched. No problem mang, I dig ya now.

i guess you could say that, its not as good as it could be. being a newb and my first system i bought a 4 channel 800 watt amp, and i have it bridged into 2 channels, ant the speakers were dual4 ohms so i had to wire them up to 8 ohms so each sub really isn't getting much power at all.

if my explaining makes since to anyone
