so is the A3 a cheater amp?

Rated for 200 wats but puts out over 1000 @14.4V @1 ohm?

haha, meka was using a 75.1 too one 15 and blew away people with 4 10s, they were wondering what the magic was... heh

mtx made a 225ho amp that is a cheater amp. it puts out 25 x 2 at 4 ohms 12 volts.....lol and 400 watts at 1ohm 12 volts. not quite a 1000 watt amp but it is very close......

Kicker XS50/XS100 ... The XS100 was rated at 50x2 @ 4 ohms, but was capable of producing well over 1000 RMS @ 1 ohm bridged ...
Pioneer Premier PRS line could also be considered cheater amps through gross underrating ...

My old American Bass CX1200's were rated at 12x1@4 ohms. I think they got rerated to 300x1@4.

Yah I use a 75.1 for usac stock 0-300 class and so far its been a really solid amp and puts out 1500wrms @1ohm

no not the red terminators , although they are cheaters to . the one im talking about is dark grey and is sorta flat on the top of the heatsink. the thunder 225ho. it sounds awsome to be only 50 watts!!!!.. i would post pics but i havent figureed out that yet.........

The Hifonics series 7 ISIS was the king of cheater amps back in the day .

I do not rember the specs , but I do know that it was un real:crazy: .

Can go down to .5 ........

If you want to use the xd series to get lots of power, it has to be on at least 16v
