eDead is cheap aswell. It's basically rebadged Peel 'n Seal.

Thats wierd, my Lowes carries it. They didn't know what it was niether when I said "peel n' seal".

edead is all right. others say secondskin is so much better but never explain why.

I see this company Thermo Damp on ebay and they sell Butyl based sound deadeners for real cheap. Anyone have experience with this stuff yet because im thinking about getting some since its like 1$ a square foot.

I would stay away from tar based deadeners in general. They usually will have a lower heat tolerance and smell horrible when they do get hot.
