it might be cheaper, but ofc is a better value. Do it right the first time & get ofc.

OFC 1/0 from KNU can handle about 300amps

CCA 1/0 from KNU can handle about 250 amps (and they say its a tad larger then regular 1/0)

You can either run the OFC or for the same price run 2 runs of CCA. I would do 1 OFC personally but depends on what you need.

DBBOOM sells 2/0 copper welding wire pretty reasonably priced. shoot him a PM. it isnt OF-C b it is copper wire
