Cheap Woofer Tube any good?

I right now i have pioneer 6x9 speakers in my car, and im going to get a new headunit. I was looking at getting a subwoofer, but dont want to loose my trunk room. Then I found one of these woofer tubes. I was looking at this one here and was wondering if its better than nothing and worth the $40. Will i need an amplifier for this? Or can i just run it off my headunit?

Yes you will need an amp, maybe looking into slim power add on subwoofer systems. JVC and several other companies make one that will get the job done and probably sound better then the Pyle.

if your wanting to go that rout i would suggest a bass tube by omega w/ built in amp they dont sound to bad and about $120 they make 8's 10's 12's

I dont really want to spend over $80. I just want something that will sound a little bit better than just the 6x9s
