Cheap second battery ....

That battery looks decent. I can't tell you for sure how it will work, but it looks like it has pretty decent specs. For $175 US you can get a Deka Intimidator 9A31 here, so the $230 US price is a little high. It might be the best value you can find.
As for the isolator, if you use the solenoid based isolator, you will kill your starting battery much sooner. If you are willing to take that risk, go with the solenoid based. It is better than running nothing at all.
would the deka be better? who's selling those?

Remy Battery sells them online in the USA. HERE is the Deka dealer locator. They have them listed by Canadian city.
Thank's for everything man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif The canadian distributor website doesn't work, but i found a canadian classified car stereo forum where i'll find a deal local or notn too far. If i don't i'll go with the no name batt once summer comes

well after few days of search... can't find a better deal than the 110ah for 230$. about the isolator, the shop says i would be better with a selenoid. That stinger is a selenoid???

I need to order something quick but i don't want to mess with anything.
I still prefer the diode based units. You will have to make that choice for yourself. I have not heard of the issue of diode based units being unreliable. That would need some corroboration for me to buy into that.

Here is the Stinger diode based model. Maybe contact the guys at Stinger and get their input. I know they answer emails rather quickly. Shoot them the question and see if they think their solenoid units will hold up better than the diode based units.

they didn't even know how many amp their diode isolator could take it might be the reason of the "easy breakable" statut.

wow that diode isolator got a 259,99mspr //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif I think i'll go selonoid for economy sake. Any big cons of doing that? i'll search a little bit on the difference between the two

I was just giving you that model as a comparison. Stinger is not really a manufacturer per se. They are a marketing company. The actual company that makes that device could be one of a number of real manufacturers.

$110 w/shipping to Canada - eBay 200A diode based isolator
