DEH 6800, new, spent 263 for it at ABC about 3 weeks ago, has been used only to try it out with the DVD touchscreen. 165$ shipped.

P8-DVD in dash touch screen dvd/cd player 400$ shipped.

Works with any pioneer unit that has the IP-BUS IN connection.

These prices are a little flexible. Shoot me offers on trades as well.

So what's the deal with the touchscreen...

I remember reading somewhere... but how does it work... you NEED an actual HU AND the touchscreen correct? Refresh my memory...

Ah, I have read the manual, heres the deal for you ng, and everyone else:

It has no tuner or internal amp, so you can't get regular radio on it alone (satellite is possible) and you can't hear this unit unless you have your speakers amped (rcas into the back of unit do exist) or have another unit to run your speakers off.

I know all pioneer/premier units work if you want to listen to the radio, etc, and I think other brand units even work with it too. The manual has a diagram of how to use non pioneer units with it, so thats how I can say I think other brands work with it too. It's a nice unit, worth the 400, definately. I personally like it, but I have to go back single DIN, this double DIN is giving me problems with my shifter (isn't made to be double din)

it will work work with any brand that has an auxillery audio input but really was designed for the pioneers with that mbus or whatever connection.
