Cheap line boosters

I be needing to raise the level of my sub out preouts a bit. Has anyone here used one of the cheesy PAC preamps with success? It doesn't need to be stellar quality, but I'll opt for a better one if you folks say they crap out.

Man, for your whole system in general,for versatility and adjustments at your finger-tips, and a voltage increase to all your amps, or amps in the near future, Id get a preamp eq.I use the Kicker KQ9 preamp, but there are several other brands,and much cheaper,some you can find in great working order, and used for a decent price, and well worth the addition in my opinion.Take a look at preamp eqs.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I think that you will be alot happier, rather than keep adding on quick fixes.

PAC makes a solid product, if it fits what you need it to do then I wouldn't hesitate to run it.

Thanks guys. My sub preouts just don't have enough level to get the amp to full power. This is a temporary solution for a bigger (tuning) problem. If it was my front stage I'd be going for an eq/preamp but I think this'll do the trick for now.
