I'm looking to build a budget subwoofer to add to a 2 channel setup. I am looking to spend as little money as possible - likely less than $50. I have a 65w plate amp from an HTIB and some mdf lying in the garage.
Can anybody recommend a decent driver that will do okay off this small amount of wattage? I'm assuming I'll need an extremely sensitive sub for it to keep up with my speakers.
Also, if I go ported, do I have to "tune" the amp or should it be set to play the full range of frequencies?
